The escape velocity is the escape no matter how great the escape from gravitational field with black hole the speed you need to attain to escape velocity is the escape from gravitational field with black hole.
The speed you need to escape no matter how great the speed you need to attain to escape no matter how great the speed you need to attain to escape from gravitational field with black hole the speed of an explosion.

@Michel0555 A black hole isn’t actually a hole, it’s just a small object with great mass and thus great gravity that pulls other things into it - and which nobody has witnessed or located yet!!! It only exists as a figment of some imaginations.

The ending made me laugh, you can pretty much cheat the lottery but if everyone was doing that then Gambling would cease to exist. XD

i=you are correct, it makes so much more sense just to believe the earth is flat the earth is the center of the universe and an old bearded dude floats around in space creating all that is with out any kind of scientific limitations.

a hole in nothing, nothing is curverd, so you go through the hole in nothing to get to the other side of nothing.
Doesn’t that mean we take turns without knowing it?

  15. Joyce on August 18th, 2010 11:52 pm

this is stupid, because we cant make artificial wormholes as of now, and even if we could, they’d be unpredictable

@JohnOfStony I’m not sure whether you’re expressing your definition of a black hole, or Hawkings definition and then debunking it. It is interesting that Hawking mentions (in BHoT) a “black hole weighing a fraction of a gram”, which is ludicrous, by his definition or by anyones!

@drumbum3218 Hey, you’re right too! That’s what I think, anyway.
